1. Answer the following questions.
(i) If someone doesn’t wear a uniform to school, what do you think the teacher will say?
Ans: The teacher would scold the student who comes to school without wearing the proper uniform. The teacher might say, “Why haven’t you worn your uniform today? You must follow school rules.”
(ii) When everyone wants a clear sky, what does the rebel want most?
Ans: When everyone wants a clear sky, the rebel wants rain. The rebel always wants the opposite of what others want.
(iii) If the rebel has a dog for a pet, what is everyone else likely to have?
Ans: If the rebel has a dog for a pet, everyone else is likely to have cats as pets. This is because the rebel always does the opposite of what most people do.
(iv) Why is it good to have rebels?
Ans: It is good to have rebels because they show us different ways of thinking. They help us learn to accept people who are different from us. Rebels also bring new ideas and change to society.
(v) Why is it not good to be a rebel oneself?
Ans: It is not good to be a rebel oneself because people might not accept you. Society often makes fun of rebels or treats them badly because they are different. Being a rebel can make life difficult sometimes.
(vi) Would you like to be a rebel? If yes, why? If not, why not?
Ans: I would like to be a rebel sometimes because rebels can think for themselves instead of just following what everyone else does. Rebels can bring new ideas and make positive changes. However, it is hard to be a rebel all the time because people might not understand you and might treat you differently. I think it’s good to be a rebel when something is wrong, but not just to be different for no reason.
